I love game of thrones deeply

Survey results: Just how do followers of different races, genders and political affiliations price Game of Thrones?

For a while right now, fansite Watchers on the Wall has been publishing the outcomes of a study it conducted of the overall game of Thrones fandom. How do fans rate the potency of various plotlines from through the years? Does it change lives if they’d read George R.R. Martin’s books? Just how do they rank the episodes from most severe to greatest? It’s a treasure trove of data, everything filled with gorgeous charts.  tina goldstein cosplay

Today, let’s review a few of the demographic data. Is there plotlines that women tended to enjoy a lot more than men, or vice versa? How about differences in political orientation? Sexual orientation? Race?

By the end of your day, we shouldn’t put an excessive amount of weight on demographic data - correlation will not equal causation, as the ancient wisdom goes - but that is interesting stuff.

Watchers is giving all of us the answers that had the starkest variations in responses. Therefore over half of man fans believed that Jaime’s poisoning of Olenna was a justified take action, while under half of female fans do. By the same token, over fifty percent of the males were delighted when Stannis defeated the wildling army, while not even half of the ladies were. charlie and the chocolate factory anime

At the risk to do what I just stated I shouldn’t do, easily were to draw a sweeping conclusion out of this, it seems like female fans were much more likely than the guys to disapprove or discover unjustified acts of violence. The exception is certainly Brienne’s victory over the Hound in season 4; more men than women had been “displeased” by that, although neither gender was as well released by it.
