Peter Dinklage submits his efficiency in “The Dragon and the Wolf” for Emmy consideration-Can he win?

The nominations are out for the 70th annual Emmy Awards, and Game of Thrones has 22 nods, more than any various other show. Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) is certainly up for an award for Excellent Helping Actor in a Drama Series. This is the final Eddard chapter ever! Would first-time readers have got picked that up?
Martin shows his grasp of irony here. Varys offers Ned a choice: hold to the truth and surely end up being killed, or lie in an attempt to save his own lifestyle and, more importantly, the life of his daughter Sansa. Insider senior reporter Kim Renfro writing an unofficial history of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones will soon be history. By the time the show ends in 2019, it will have been on the air for eight years (with one year off), and in development for a few years longer than that. And where there is background, there are history books. Kim Renfro, who’s been covering Video game of Thrones for years over on Insider, is stepping up to write an unofficial history all about our favorite series, tracing it from its inception through its coming finale. legend of korra cosplay costumes

Renfro made the announcement on Twitter; where else? Although there’s no title yet, we know that the book will be an extension of the reporting Renfro has done over the last several years, with a target drop window of fall 2019, after season 8 has wrapped up; that way, it’ll be able to tell the whole story from start to finish. Touchstone, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish.

Simon and Schuster has previously published books like Notes from the Upside Down: An Unofficial Guide to Stranger Things, so this isn’t their first time at the rodeo. For those unfamiliar, unofficial books are not authorized by the owner of the works they document, which in this case is usually HBO. It’s a pretty popular genre, and unofficial histories exist for everything from The Simpsons to Buffy the Vampire Slayer to The Wire and well beyond. Sophie Turner: Game of Thrones season 8 is “full of betrayal”

Game of Thrones superstar Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) is appearing on the cover of 1883 magazine, and dropping hints about Video game of Thrones season 8 while she’s at it. Her issue hits newsstands on July 31, but Just Jared provides some excerpts ahead of time.

Season 8 being full of war and danger is hardly surprising considering what we’re seen from the established, but the betrayal part makes us nervous. Tyrion betrays Daenerys? Sansa betrays Jon? Sizzling Pie betrays his diet?

Turner also talked about how she deals with what Jared calls “enthusiast hysteria”; Game of Thrones fans are fantastic, of training course, but we’re also a passionate bunch. “It doesn’t get frustrating,” Turner said. “I mean it’s entertaining. HBO reveals timetables for Game of Thrones season 8 and the Age of Heroes prequel show

Right now, journalists are gathered at the Television Critics Association press tour, where TV’s biggest titles talk about what they have in the pipeline. HBO’s press conference was the 1st on the docket, and programming president Casey Bloys dropped a few bits of info every Game of Thrones fan will want to hear. Let’s hit the highlights:

Not a shocker, this. We’ve known for a while that the final six episodes of the show would drop in 2019. Filming ended not long ago, which gives the production plenty of time to edit and add in special effects, but that process was never going to stretch into the second half of 2019. And how is the final season? “It’s fairly great,” Bloys said.

The Age of Heroes prequel won’t start shooting until 2019.
We’ve also known for some weeks that HBO is certainly making a prequel series to Video game of Thrones. There’s still no name for it, but it will be arranged during the Age of Heroes, thousands of years before Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister and the like were born. There have been reports that the display could start shooting as early as October of this season, but Bloys shot them down. “I don’t know where that report came from, we’re hoping to go into production in early ’19,” he said. So there you proceed: the successor to Game of Thrones will start shooting the same calendar year as its big brother airs its series finale. There’s no term yet on when that show will premiere.

There were other prequel rumors in the air. A couple weeks back, it was widely reported that HBO was working on a second show called Empire of Ash, about the fall of the Valyrian empire. If it’s true, Bloys said nothing about it, which you can interpret how you like. adult sleeping beauty costumes

We know that, at one time, HBO was developing five prequel ideas, the Age of Heroes show being the only one for which we know for sure they’re making a pilot. According to journalist Linda Ge, Bloys said the additional four are “half dead/half on-hold,” whatever that means.
